Case Study: Cape Light Compact’s Cape and Vineyard Electrification Offering
April 8, 2025 @ 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM ET
The Cape Light Compact, a municipal energy services aggregator serving Cape Cod & Martha’s Vineyard, developed the Cape & Vineyard Electrification Offering to promote whole-home decarbonization and electrification for low- and moderate-income residents. The program aims to expand access to clean energy technologies such as solar PV systems, energy storage, and heat pumps, specifically targeting households that currently rely on oil, propane or electric resistance heating. It is the only offering within the Massachusetts ConnectedSolutions customer battery program that provides subsidies for low-income participants. Clean Energy Group (CEG) recently published a report on this program, which details how it was developed, provides information about the benefits and challenges associated with implementing it, and looks at early evaluation results.
This webinar about the Cape & Vineyard Electrification Offering features presentations from Stephen McCloskey, Energy Efficiency Analyst, and Miranda Skinner, Strategy and Regulatory Analyst, from Cape Light Compact. CEG’s Olivia Tym will moderate.
