“What Cities Should Do: A Guide to Resilient Power Planning” is a series of guidelines and best practices for cities and towns preparing to deal with the impacts of severe weather events. In the event of a power outage, cities should have a resilient power plan for critical public and private facilities in order to protect their most vulnerable citizens. This paper calls for a systematic approach to protect critical facilities with smarter resilient power solutions.
