Give the gift of resilient power
When communities have access to clean, affordable and reliable electricity, they thrive. Yet 38 percent of households in the US experience a high energy burden, and only 1 in 7 households has access to reliable backup power.
Over the past 10 years, Clean Energy Group has distributed $2,000,000 to nearly 200 community organizations across the country to help kickstart resilient power project development. So far, 77 community solar+storage projects have been completed, and many more are in progress. These resilient power installations save lives and livelihoods during power outages and provide cost savings and emissions reductions year-round.
Clean Energy Group’s resilient power funding programs have an amplified impact. A donation of $25 can leverage over $3,000 in external capital, supporting the development of clean, resilient power for communities on the frontlines of the climate crisis.
Your gift today – of any amount – can protect families when disasters strike, giving them a safe place to go when they are left without power, without heat or air conditioning, without running water, without outlets to charge phones and power medical devices.
Thank you for following and supporting this important work. Now more than ever, we need to work together to help the communities and people most impacted by climate change to weather the next big storm.
