This report provides an overview for federal, state, and local officials on how clean energy can deliver reliable power in emergencies. Critical public facilities should install on-site clean energy generation to reduce the risk from power failures. This document is intended to give state, local and federal officials a snapshot of what state clean energy funds and others are already doing to harden critical infrastructure, and demonstrate the potential to further enhance emergency preparedness.
